That special day comes around every year for all of us. It means another year older. It may involve cake in round, rectangle, or cup form. Wishes abound from calls, emails, tweets, texts and Facebook posts. And, often from those who hold you near and dear, a lovely wrapped gift or two may find its way into your hands. Give those thoughtful gift givers some ideas and build your birthday wish list with items that are useful, wanted and needed.
Here’s all you need to do to create a birthday wish list:
- Create a free Giftster account to get started. Don’t forget to add your birthday so we can remind others in your group when your birthday is coming up.
- Under my lists, click on the new list link.
- Give your list a snazzy title like My Super Duper Birthday Wish List.
- Select your List Privacy: Private is for your eyes only; Shared allows you to share your list with your groups; Public allows anyone to shop your list whether with or without a Giftster account. Press save list after you make your selection.
- Start building your wish list! Click add item and manually add the item details or copy and paste the URL where the item can be found and press Fetch. We’ll take a peek at the page and fill out the details for your item including a picture. Or use the Add to Giftster browser button to add items while shopping on other sites.
- Share your list with others! We give you a couple ways to do this. Go to share in your list header for a custom URL for your newly built wish list that you can copy or email to share. Or, try our preferred method of sharing with your family group. Go to my groups and do a member search to find an already existing group or create a new group and invite your family to join so they, too, can create their own birthday wish lists.
Already have a Giftster account? Then you already know how groovy sharing your wish list with Giftster is! Create a new list to share or update an existing list because your family is waiting to spoil you.
Happy next year of wonderful you! May all your birthday wishes come true!
(Side note: Totally didn’t mean to make a rhyme there but it works, doesn’t it?!)
