It’s Black Friday and shoppers are hitting the ground running. But Black Friday isn’t the only “themed” holiday shopping day. There are a few others making this weekend one of the biggest shopping events of the year. Whichever day you choose to shop, Giftster is here to give you a hand.
Black Friday
The other day, my son asked me what Black Friday is. I did my best to break it down in 3rd grade terms but, in short, it’s known as the day that retailers can consider the books to be “in the black” instead of “in the red.” My son called it the day Arthur, our Elf on the Shelf, makes his first appearance. Well…I guess it’s that, too.
Small Business Saturday
Support your local and small retailers on Saturday by shopping their stores. Another way you can support your favorite small business is by adding items from their stores to your Giftster wish list. This way, the gift givers in your life can shop them as well.
Cyber Monday
For over a decade, when people return home from their Thanksgiving break, they hit the keyboard hard and shop online the following Monday. It’s kind of like Black Friday with less crowds and free shipping (in some cases). If you’ve reserved wish list items from online retailers, this would be a great day to look for a deal.
Giving Tuesday
This is a movement centered around giving. Find a way to help out in your community, make a donation to your favorite charity, and ask those around you to do the same. Remember, you can also add donations to your favorite charity to your Giftster list.
No matter where you’re looking for deals, Giftster will help you get great gifts this year.
