Kaboodle.com, a popular shopping and list making service, recently shut down according to its Facebook post.  No reason was given, but there are lots of disappointed list makers.

Many are finding a new home with Giftster.  Like Kaboodle, they are curating lists of favorite things for family or friends, or just to share publicly.

By starting a group and inviting family, they can share their lists privately just with that group, and view each other’s lists.  Or by making list privacy set to “public” they can share their lists with the world, either by sending out the list share web link, or being discovered by Giftster member search.

The lists at Kaboodle were lost when the service shut down, but fortunately with giftster’s magic Fetch button, adding new items with image, description, price and a web link to follow is a one button proposition at giftster.com.
